Current CGS Lt. Gen Shamshad Mirza was appointed just yesterday and he is not the senior-most in current lot. My God this is gonna be a huge mess if not resolved properly.

Lt. Gen. Javed Nasir, DG ISI was the senior most General, but CGS has far greater power over the Army than anybody else in the Force, except COAS.

The actual process is started off by the Defence Secretary if I remember correctly.

As per procedure
- Army Chief send 3 names to defence Secretary
- Defence Secretary send these name to government/PM office via Defence minister
- PM if agree chose one name or can reject all the names or may ask additional names its PM discretion
- PM after decision send his advice to President
- As per rule of business (I not exactly remember name of the case) and SCP decision President is bound act as per PM advice

i think cjp if allows gen bajwa extension,then after his retirement gen bajwa will take revenge from him due to the embarrassment which gen bajwa has faced by today decision so more chances are that cjp will not allow extension decision and he has kept in mind all the consequences of the repercussions of his decision today,if new coas is appointed he will be grateful to cjp as his decision paved way for him to become coas so cjp will enjoy good future 3yrs after his retirement

And now all of a sudden he decided, he should take Suo Moto, something he said he wouldn't like to do for more pressing matters of national importance.

In his speech, he said that Judiciary was not responsible for the release of Nawaz.
It was, without shadow of a doubt. IF IHC didn't grant 8 weeks "Medical Holiday" leave, the government wouldn't have been put in the spot to remove him from ECL. All because IHC judges, the puppets of PMLN in the leadership of
KhateerminIblees left their judgement purposefully ambiguous to put the government on the spot.

Mr CJ you forgot what Khateerminiblees wrote in his judgement.
Even then government referred it back to the Judiciary for surety. LHC in fact passed a different judgement and overruled the government, therefore, it was definitely the judiciary which freed Nawaz and allowed him to go abroad.

As for past concerns, who could forget , i- Attack on SCP by the goons of PMLN. ii- Shahbaz and others directing the judges of LHC how to decided cases on the behest of Nawaz. iii- Nawaz tried to bribe the judges by sending suitcases full of cash. iv- recent revelations that they first tried to order the judge to change the verdict against Nawaz. Nawaz meet judge Arshad himself. Failing that they tried to bribe him at holy place.

Tell us Mr CJ, what action judiciary has taken against these criminals. Not to forget that repeatedly these buffoons submitting fake documents in the courts. Soon it would be revealed that the medical proofs submitted during the hearings in IHC and LHC were bogus too.

This is another tactics from our enemy , it is 5th Gen warfare , this issue is coming from nowhere but good it surface now to identify by themself who is working for country and who is ally with our enemy and working for enemy agenda. Yes govt allow for 4 weeks that was with condition And court dismissed thst govt condition and give life settlement to NS in UK without any guranttee, remind you 50 rupees paper is nothing.

IHC issuing contempt notice to two sitting ministers yet the same courts didn't take a notice of Hamza insulting the jude in session and his attack doing an offensive presser after that incidence.

CJP didn't take notice when that ATM thief was tortured to death... or anyother issues directly effecting the general public... but now a Suo Motto.

The eminent courts didn't do anything about the corruption charges against judges... including Iftihar Ch. appointing his son on so many posts and that infamous case of Malik Riaz vs his own son ... long list!

The hostility and out right malign intent shown by the Status Quo forces and their Lawyers towards the National Security of PakState is alarming.

The Military Diplomacy of PakState has borne so many fruits...including saving Pakistan from Default... credit must be given where it is due....

It is NOT just about being ArmyChief leading all corps... its about Geostrategic and Geopolitical Momentum that is built through Military Diplomacy given that our FO is essentially made defunct by Design in the DarkDecade of Zardari and Nawaz regimes....

What we see before us is the glaring Acceleration of Paralysis of Functioning of State... with unimaginable results.

It is not about a person i.e. Chief Bajwa..

Willing and unwillingly the forces of Status Quo are causing grave internal entaglements while we are at the defining moment of Third Strategic Moment in our 72 years of history... IoJK is all forgotten... Afghan Peace is still not there and yes, The Third War on CPEC is all in the open.
