Superstition Keeps India's Richest Man Out of Billion-Dollar House

Altamount Road or Altamont Road (more correctly) is an upmarket residential street in South Mumbai, parallel to Peddar Road which it meets at the well-known intersection called Kemp's Corner. On Altamont Road are the consulates of Indonesia and of South Africa; on the connecting Carmichael Road are the Belgian, Chinese, and Japanese consulates. The road has been in the news in recent times because of the construction at its crest of a 27-storied mansion by the Indian industrialist, Mukesh Ambani. Recently it has been rated as 10th most costly street in the world.[1] Altamont Road is a very affluent area, and also home to several Bollywood stars. The Mafatlal complex is also located here, as well as the designer store ' Aza'. [2],[3]

The road was officially re-named "S. K. Barodawalla Marg" many years ago, but residents and the city's taxi-drivers, and others continue to refer to it by its former name. It has a large number of trees and heritage buildings, such as the official residence of the Chairman of the Bombay Port Trust, the residence of the Municipal Commissioner of Mumbai, the official residence of the General Manager, Western Railways. The residential bunglow of the Bombay Port Trust was originally made by Vittel who also designed the Gateway of India , Ballard Estate .

Or make a homeless shelter out of it for his people. There so much he can do, but no..superstition! Why build it and spend that money in the first place.
He is already feeding around 23000 people{his employees} and then not forget stock brokers, his share holders...many trusts were he donates his money...and that's more then enough.....as faar his house concern...its his house, his money he has all right to do whatever he want to do with that......Now you tell me the name of even a single Pakistani who had employed more then 23000 Pakistani Citizens....
