What's new

sukhoi CEO confirms 200 PAK FA for IAF.

When the PAK FA arrives most likely around 2018 even a handful will completely make the IAF VERSIS PAF too lopsided.

A Single PAK FA unseen carrying up to 12 BVR missles KH172 will be taking out F16s/Thunders 10 at a time.

Fifth generation fighters because of their extreme zero or virtually zero visibility is a quantum leap in capability that nobody here can quantify.

PAF won,t even know the PAK FA is there.before ITS TOO LATE YOUR DEAD

su30mki x 230-270 was very heavey odds against PAF but PAK FA will be totally one sided.

END OF STORY.

BY 2025 IAF could have over 500 su30mki/ mig35/typhoon and PAKFA.

That is a FORMIDABLE AIR FORCE.. and very expensive one too

Nuking India is like

INDIA NUKING CHINA.

IE END OF THE NATION thast made the first strike.

india 2nd strike is sea based and will be massive and unstoppable

.
No one spoke about surgical strikes. Air superiority of IAF is being discussed. About all the advancements of US compared to India, India will not attempt surgical strikes without solid evidence and location details only after all other means to neutralise the threat is used.

About your Nuclear fetish, let us hope that responsible people are having the final say and will not move towards mutual destruction by hitting the panic button.
Hi,
one suggestion, please bother to read carefully before poking your nose to confront others, my post was a reply to some else based on not my personal perception but what the facts are according to Pakistan's nuclear doctrine as that fella had said that how will Pakistan stand against Indian latest procurements, and i had replied to that again not my nuclear fetish but based on Pakistan's nuclear doctrine against your air superiority dream FYI its numerical superiority not air so get your facts right :cheesy:

We must avoid giving 'respect'.
However, in indo pak scenario it will be the biggest moron who will press the button to get his country cleaned from the map during second strike.

this time no one will win both will loose.

nuclear war is Not winnable.

God, I thought India will have 250 PAKFA + FGFA. The no has gone down by 50...

Don't worry. India can order more.

Still, 200 PakFa + 280 Su30MKI + 126MRCA = 600 great top of the line fighters. That's awesome. Really unbelievable. Unmatched in Asia. And I am not even counting the LCA and Jaguars, Bisons and Mirages.

what new in the news world know that

and brother don't talk about Pakistan talk about china all this is for china

Yo yo chill man, what's china got to do with this? Don't drag us into this pointless trolling every time india gets some new weapons, jezz...

You can count Jaguars, Bisons, Mirages, but i think u will not see LCA in action before 2040!:toast_sign:

IIRC, its 50 PAK-FA and then 200 FGFA for IAF? And the other way around for RuAF - 50 FGFA and 200 PAK-FA.

Much is being made out of this PAK FA and FGFA debate. Different sources are quoting different stuff.
Can anyone please ge the details? Also, here is uncertainty as to when will FGFA will start getting inducted, while 2015-2017 has been stated as the time for PAK FA induction.

After 2020 we will start getting the fighters! 50 of PAKFA type and 200 of FGFA type(will be built in HAL)!I think the difference is only single and double seated fighters respectively :partay:

That's because not even the final agreement about FGFA and Indian involvment is signed, or fixed!
At the moment we can't do anything else but speculate about media reports, about numbers, about involvement and also differences. Actually even about the real performance of Pak Fa, I mean it seems to be more maneuverable than F22, or F35, but what about stealth, what weapons really fits into the weapon bays, radar and avionics.

FGFA will (imo) highly rely on Pak Fa, which means there won't be many changes to make and development will benefit from Pak Fa tests, so it could be done till 2017/2018. But even if it will be ready by then, it will be very difficult for HAL producing LCA MK2, MMRCA under licence and FGFA at the same time, so the numbers that could be inducted at the beginning could be small. That could be a reason why there is talk about IAF getting Pak Fa from Russia, although it doesn't fit to their doctrine.
But till nothing is signed, or officially confirmed the speculations will remain.
