I think Peshawar police is reaching new heights of stupidity. How was this guy not stopped.

Lets compare the attack on the polio teams in Karachi and Peshawar. Difference? 25 people were rounded up in Karachi, one guy had a note where he said to his amir he had targeted polio teams... pretty incriminating evidence... not a single culprit apprehended by the Peshawar police.

I think the Peshawar police seriously needs to pull up its socks. I don't know if anyone else is concerned about this? Can any Peshawarite provide a view on the situation. On 5, 7 and 20 december there were arrests (these are the known arrests-being a little privy to info I know Chaudhry Aslam has been resorting to extra-judicial murder of the most hardened murderers which aren't reported at all-just dead bodies found.) including those of others on various dates in Karachi who were not proven terrorists but suspected ones. This month in Peshawar despite major attacks no arrest. These 10 people we killed were the ones who took part in the attack... what about the hierarchy, what about those above them. What about finding out how the hell these explosives are transported around?

Also in Waziristan Rah e nijat was a huge failure. 2 million displaced and all we could clear is Sararogha... Ladha still operates as one of the main locations of TTP. My book, Badal covers this.

Speaking to Dawn.com from an undisclosed location, a spokesman for the banned Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), Ehsanullah Ehsan, claimed responsibility for the blast and Bilour’s assassination.

What sort of place in Pakistan is that which cant be traced by the calls made from the area and cant be bombed to oblivion by the Pakistan Airforce ?

First of all, your book needs some rectification. Ladha is in control of the army. And the operation in SW did not see 2 miion refugees, rather it was the operation in Swat which resulted in 2M IDPs. SW agency resulted in something close to or less then 0.500M IDPs. All the major villages working under TTP in SW are under army control, but attacks do happen once a month or so mostly due to militants coming from NWA side or from the forests in which they are hiding.

As for Bilour sb, he would take the least of security with him, it was his personal decision. Mostly he used his own 2-3 personal body guards, and once a while police escort. He wasn't afraid.

And tracing such guys is not an easy task, suicide bomber has gone to hell, he was the only lead which may lead to the culprits, even if suicide bomber is caught, they can hardly help as they themselves don't know who is handling them as these suicide bombers come from NWA and handed over to other local people.

And as for Karachi police claims, i highly doubt those claims with respect to polio attacks culprits, but that is another discussion.

We had quiet peace in last few years after the operation in SWA, but this year has been again troubling and things are again getting worse as the TTP guys have now their bases in NW and they are launching attacks from there.

And these ehsan ullah ehsan kind of spokesman speak through satellite phones which i believe we can't trace, but US can and still they don't target them. Question is who gets them these phones, who pays the bill & why US can't track & target them.

People need to be careful what they write about the deceased one. Doesn't matter if he was an angel or a Demon, he is no more in this world and we should just pray for his forgiveness ( atleast once).
What we need to talk about is how to stop these kind of incidents.

You have this asshole of ttp spokesman thumping his chest left and right after every successful hit, makes a mockery of Pakistans armed forces capablities, and our armed forces are unable to neutralize him cuz he makes phone calls with a satellite phone.

All this money Pakistan spends on defence and we can't find one guy in our backyard. What happend to the human intelligence.? What happend to the secret missions with SSG? What's ISI doing? All I hear is execuses and nothing more.

Peshawar police is the police which 4 days ago killed 4 when got under attack on a check post....

Peshawar police is the police which saved Peshawar airport and next day killed the remaining culprits.... (Compare it with GHQ, Mehran and Kamra)

And if you knew anything about Bashir balour he never used huge security and was on almost every scene of terrorism to support the morale of public and SF.
