We need to start covert operations within Afghanistan to take out the TTP leadership and infrastructure present there, if we don't these soft spots targets closer to the Afghanistan border will continue indefinitely and I don't think border regularity and control will solve this problem to an extent that we would like it to, we need to cross the border and get the job done hidden if we have to.

Just yesterday a suicide bomber was arrested in Shikarpur who revealed that he got training in Afghanistan. Clearly, this is not an isolated incident and it was planned as a coordinated attack across Pakistan.
