Sikh Rights Group Convenes "Citizens' Court" to Indict Modi - Washington, DC.

The indictment proceedings will be telecast live throughout the United States on September 30th.

To publicize Modi's indictment proceedings, rights group has launched an advocacy campaign by renting dioramas at several Metro stops of Washington DC. With the approval of Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, the dioramas at U Street, Columbia Heights and Eastern Market Metro stations display Modi's mug shot.

Charging Modi with the offense of "attacks on religious minorities in India", the writing on the diorama states "Citizens' Court - Indictment of Obama's Guest, the Prime Minister of India - September 30th, 12:30 PM at President's Park".

Pretty silly campaign, and highly disrespectful to the position of Prime Minister of India. For good or bad, the majority of Indians have decided that their fates are best decided when entwined with Modi as PM.

If some Rights groups and the US Govt don't have the basic courtesy to respect Indian peoples' mandate, it only exposes their own shallow and hypocritical understanding of Democracy.
