JN Nation solar mission started in 2010.. must admit steps are taken by Manmohan Singh.. and REC introduced for 5 years plan i.e 2012-2017 which boosted solar power generation in India.. although the trading is bit complicated.. but the perks introduced by Manmohan.. im looking forward for friendly solar policy and extended REC..

Can you please provide figures of MW's of Solar power added between 2010-2014 and in the last 2 years?

New Delhi: BJP's firebrand Rajya Sabha MP Dr Subramanian Swamy continues to express his opinion on issues of utmost concern with his 'I care a damn' attitude.

Despite Prime Minister Narendra Modi's indirect snub to Swamy, the BJP MP has raised questions over the former's much publicised election slogan 'Achche Din' and said that if discloses the real GDP growth figures it will create a furore.

Swamy on Friday took Twitter and claimed that if he discloses real GDP figures then it will certainly not go down well within the party and will be seen as an anti-party activity.

Just two months after entering the Rajya Sabha, Subramanian Swamy has been attacking his critics and has taken swipes at Finance Minister Arun Jaitley over RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan's term.

Swamy’s caustic and even derogatory tweets have eroded the support of the top bosses in the ruling dispensation and questions regarding his comments have raised within the RSS.

Swamy’s fall from grace was reflected in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent remarks about “Vyavastha se upar kisi ko bolne ka haq nahi hai…’’ in an interview to a TV news channel.

However, efforts to ensure that he tones down his attacks have not yielded results and the BJP leadership is determined to take disciplinary action if his Twitter diatribe continues.

Can you please provide figures of MW's of Solar power added between 2010-2014 and in the last 2 years?
That would clearly tell us who performed and who didn't.

Manmohan took necessary steps towards the Solar energy... obviously the pace would increase. you might look up the quantity. there is no technological breakthrough in solar tech... Cost of each unit reduced due cheap solar cells imports from abroad.. destroying our homegrown manufacturers.. Usually solar panels have 25years life time with 10% reduction for every 10years.. but cheap panels available from chinese manufacturers, causing cost reduction... but the quality god knows... even though they give us 25yrs life time in reality it is otherwise... coming to Wind energy it is more like monopoly... companies purchase the land identified, which suitable for Wind mills or turbines... they will set up plants at their will... and if you want to set up plant .. you are lucky , you have to purchase installed turbines from these companies... in A.p ( you will not able to get land easily... unless you have influence).

I didn't deny MMS contribution.
in fact, even during MMS time, you should check Modi's contribution from Guj towards Solar contribution. That will give you the real numbers.

What I am questioning is the underhanded attempt to NOT give the appreciation where it is due!

What does exactly Swamy want? He's taking on the entire BJP on some one-man crusade. Does he want Modi's job? May by Modi should appoint him new RBI governor. After all he has a Ph.D. in economics from Harvard and thinks he could do a better job.

What? I say take away his Rajyasabha seat also if possible, Gandhis can be and should be dealt with as per the law of the land (and in reality Indian democracy is not mature enough to convict them), Swamy's speeches in Rajyasabha won't change a thing. He is not even an elected representative, BJP's electoral prospects depend upon the person people voted for, and that guy is Modi, not Swamy. Check this tweet.

Anyway, I brought in Guj and not Raj for a specific reason. Guj was the biggest contributor to Solar power in India under MMS and fortunately that contribution has nothing to do with MMS.
