indian will keep on bragging about the su-30 mk1 , which is a super amazing fighter , and may be best in asia, comparable to - euro fighter of middle east n rafael , but surely you can t say its way ahead of them figter which indian will claim

pakistan will not like this thread and will tell you - its worst thab even f-7 or even Cessna 172 r

Dude, when the IAF was in UK a few years back for India Danush, albeit it was said no one vis one combat took place between the Eurofighter and the SU-30s, but then a Typhoon HUD video started to do rounds and it didn't look good for the Russian fighter. Don't get me wrong, Flanker is an awesome looking machine but it's huge size produces a big signature.

That video has popped up countless times like that 1965 PAF pilots videos.. and the US officer video has also been rebuked countless times ! Why do we have to waste time doing the same process over and over again ?

Tell me dude, how does JF-17 sum up against Eurofighter ? Can you even think of it ?

The US officer was giving a debrief not performing a stand up show.

Tell me dude, how does JF-17 sum up against Eurofighter ? Can you even think of it ?

Then again no one is claiming it to be the best in the list.
One is a $70 Million heavy duty machine while the other is a $20 Million lightweight purposely built fighter. Two different ball games.

You need to conceive that albeit exercises enhance the operators capabilities but the term remains that, Bricks don't hit back.
Just to enlighten you, the PAF has mixed with the best but it seldom makes a song and dance about it.

paf cannot train effectively with those f-7s which dont even have a proper radar to ***** capabilities of other aircraft in the ex.

The signature have been reduced marginally with composites and RAM coatings. But its main advantage over other fighters are its agility, radar, electronic warfare, and cost.

you cannot reduce the signature by just using the composites. Modern radars are too sensitive to any die-electrics being formed on a material, that may or may not be due to static build up, storm etc. Plus a radar an easily track the nozzle of the engine, the external fuel tank or even the front nose. Those are big enough for any modern radar to pick up. You detect any of these parts and you have found the plane.
Remember how the F-117 was lost, even though it was way better than Su-30 at RCA reduction.

There is a reason why F-35 and F/A22 carry weapons inside. So will the new PAK-FA. Not 10 huge missiles sticking out on the wing like the Su-30.

It is either stealth or no stealth. Small signature, big signature, moderate signature makes no difference. The MKI has a very powerful radar and you dont have any fighter that can evade MKI's radar within it's range. No matter how small your signature, you will still get detected on MKI's radar. At Red Flag the MKI's had not switched on their radars.

So it is Stealth or No Stealth ..rest helps very little.

PAF has mixed with the best ? Come on.. I expected you to say, USAF has mixed with the best. That would be more appropriate lol. What exactly was your contribution to the exercise ? The almighty F-7s ?
