at the end of the day their only customer India evaluated the aircraft and took a hike. it is not like india has another choice for 5th gen aircraftHow do you know they added more surface area?

why its a extra surface @undertakerwwefanI doubt it matters.
why its a extra surface @undertakerwwefan
Yes, Just like Canard on J-20 @undertakerwwefanIs it extra surface? I would have to measure to find out.
Yes, there are -- the highlighted. There is no extra surface from lavcon. There is extra surface from canards, you are confused. SU-57 tails are much smaller. And there is so huge difference in frontal surface area due to slim profile of SU-57 that dwarfs any other design aspects. So you are the troller.
Yes, it is. So STFU, little boy.Is it extra surface? I would have to measure to find out.
Yes, there are -- the highlighted.
There are three rules in designing a radar low observable body:
- Control of quantity of radiators
- Control of array of radiators
- Control of modes of radiation
While they are called 'rules', they are more like guidelines. You cannot break these guidelines but you can obey them to varying degrees.
The proof for those rules is with the radar calibration sphere...
https://www.centurymetalspinning.com/radar-calibration-spheres/
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lincoln_Calibration_Sphere_1
The reason why the sphere is the ideal calibration body is because out of all the simple bodies, the sphere is the most obedient to the three rules.
Regarding the -57's levcon. The moment they are in motion, no matter how minute, they fall under Rule 2: Control of ARRAY of radiators.
The word 'array' means in relation to others. Radar signals that reflects off the levcons will exhibit different behaviors at different degrees of travel. This is real physics.
At the very least, I am far smarter than you.Wow. You are so smart you are smarter than Sukhoi engineers. NOT!
he was the Professional, ex USAF, he knows better than both of us @undertakerwwefanWow. You are so smart you are smarter than Sukhoi engineers. NOT!

So from the pathetic low IQ troll like you...
in what fields may i ask and what do you know about aerodynamics, aeronautical engineering @undertakerwwefanEx USAF? Meh. I graduated from University of Waterloo. I bet I know more than he does.
Su-57 is for sale from day one if you look article in wikipedia @undertakerwwefanSu-57 ain't for sale. Not to India. Not to anyone. There's gonna be so much backlog for the next few decades anyway. 200 Su-27 are reaching the end of their fuselage lifespan. These will be replaced by new build Su-35 and Su-57. Syria air force gets about 50 ex Russian Su-27 and another 50 ex Russian MiG-29.
i think you graduated in ranting/brain farting/ bashing from University of Waterloo, aren't you @undertakerwwefanEx USAF? Meh. I graduated from University of Waterloo. I bet I know more than he does.
