Su-30 is basically Russia counterpart of F-15E. Su-34 is basically Russia counterpart of F-111.

False, F-111 basically had no air combat role. That was a truer fighter-bomber.

SU-34 hosts the same long range air to air missiles as the SU-30. SU-34 is in the flanker family.

SU-34 can go up against F-15s and F-16s and F-18s, F-111 could not. SU-34 is a multirole strike fighter. But not in the same category as F-35s, minus the stealth.

Su-34 is built for strike. It has very bad air to air capability. Only capable of 8g. It's more like JH-7.

Gs are mainly for dogfighting. When you have AAM that have 70+km BVR range, you don't need to dogfight. The Russians themselves say SU-34s are for both air to ground and air to air capabilities (this is multirole). The Chinese do not say this of the JH-7.

Yeah I'm just saying Su-34 has same role as JH-7. Primary strike. Secondary air to air. Su-30 is multirole like F-15E.

main mission for Su-34 is strike not for Air superiority, And F-14 is basically long range Interceptor on Carrier with minimal strike capability, USA added strike capability on F-14 lot later in its carrier (in mid 80s early 90s) @zectech
