u assumed a=2a in the first place and that is wrong,so whatever u deduce out of it is wrong

No, no guys you got it wrong. 2a=a is very much possible but only when a=0 as Jazz found out. Now, once you know that a=0 you cannot divide anything by a (you can't divide anything by zero because when x/a where a-->0, x/a--> infinity) if you do then it becomes undefined. And if you check all the different calculations you'll see that a is being divided by a i.e. 0 is being divided by 0 which is mega undefined. That is why the calculations are wrong.
