No. Its increasing. I am from UP which has most population of Muslim and I have seen all these thing. If you go to East UP and some part of Western UP, These areas are worst. UP had witnessed around two dozen small and big riots in last year. do you think this happen becuase of love between Hindu and Muslim. Why does everything has to have a religious color when it comes to Muslims? this is a honest question, why is it that Muslims bring in religion into almost everything? Why is that they have certain reactions to Non Muslims about everything - specifically singling out certain Non Islam religions for particular hate.

Hindus never hated Islam - or it wouldn't have existed in India till now if we did - but what one sees is adverse hate towards Hinduism and a superiority complex.

it's clear muslims does not attack there masters i.e arabs but they do attack the countries which gives them equal opportunities and treat them as there own and this is what i don't like about muslim communities.
they live in ghettos,send there kids in madarssas and then complain that they aren't doing well because government is biased.

These are all exactly the stereotypes about Latino-Americans and African-Americans: poor, lazy, fast breeding, welfare sponges with criminal tendencies who have created no-go ghettos.

Going back in time, these attributes were assigned to previous immigrant groups.

Note, however, that the American/British media takes great pains to fight these stereotypes: the face of black America is Rihanna and Will Smith and Kobe Bryant; the face of hispanic America is Jennifer Lopez and Geraldo Rivera.

By contrast, European media is unabashedly racist towards their socio-economically marginalized Muslim citizens. Most (continental) European media portrays the Muslim characters in criminal roles, reinforcing negative stereotypes. Media image has consequences. There have been studies by BBC and others in European countries where job applicants with similar resumes got worse responses if the name was Muslim.

This creates mistrust and acrimony between the communities and perpetuates generational ghettoization.

Of course, the easy answer is to dismiss these underlying socio-economic factors as "apologist" or "denialist", but we are not so dismissive about other minority groups. Is it because the media has made it fashionable to understand the plight of African-American and Latino-American communities, but not the Muslims?
