Stop violence against Christians in Karnataka

No, the role of Christians in power who interpreted Christianity in a certain way played its role there. If Christianity the religion itself had played the role, then Christianity would have been banned from America completely. It is not.

Meaningless semantics.

You mean this ?

The Hadith are not perfect, unlike the Quran, which is the inspired word of Allah. The Hadith can be prone to errors, & there are many such examples of these.

Should India even be considered a real democracy if it's freedom of speech and religion are restricted, is it even a real democracy now?

Who cares ? Are you the patent holder of the words "Real Democracy" ? lol. ? Nobody complaints as long as, India retains the system that is best suited to protect its delicate social fabric.

Not meaningless semantics. If Christianity the religion advocated terrorism, it would be banned in the US & across the world. It is not banned. Same with Islam.

Denials and more denials when proved wrong

For starters - Sahih Al-Bukhari is uniformly regarded by clerics all over as the single most authentic collection of Hadiths.

Christianity successfully evolved from the Dark Ages after much struggle, bloodshed and wars....currently Islam is where Christianity was in the 14th century...Lets hope for your sake it emulates Christianity and evolves to keep in touch with the modern ages.

If you read wikipedia, you will see there is a consensus amongst some called scholars & jurists. There is nothing in the Quran or Islam that advocates murder for apostasy.

i read that part but most of the muslims have concensus that if person leaves islam he should be executed and other important islamic books say the same

Again, Hadith are not the inspired word of God. They are prone to errors. There are many weak ahadith out there. The hadith can be altered, the word of God cannot.

The Book of Allah does not say it, & that is the most important book. The other important Islamic books you are talking about are only are not important to everyone. The Quran is important to everyone. It is the inspired word of God.

The thread is about violence against Christians should be stopped , and yes it should be stopped who ever is doing this. I don't know why this irrelevant discussion just flames up.

You are the one who practice religion , don't let someone to use religion for hatred . Humanity/Justice comes first.

How can something like terrorism be inspired by religion when God says that killing of one innocent person regardless of religion equals to that of the entire humanity? How can the actions of a few lunatics be inspired by religion when God says only defensive warfare is allowed, & the killing of innocent children, women & old men is not allowed in any circumstance; only the people directly engaged in the war?

I can give a detailed answer. It will also derail the thread.

Millions have been killed in the name of Islam despite what you claim here.

even if it is not stated in quran still it has a mass support
its just like in hinduism some thing are not endorsed by the vedas but people still do it as the masses support it and hence form a part of the religion
even if quran is the main book the others cannot be ignored and a less educated or open minded person may not accept your view point

But Sahih Al-Bukhari is by no means a 'weak' Hadith..Infact clerics the world over uniformly consider it the most authentic collection of Hadiths..

Just because something has mass support does not make it part of that religion.

If something is not part of Hinduism or Hindu religion but people still support & do it, it makes it part of culture, not religion. Please realize the difference between the two statements.

That's not true. Sahih Bukhari is not accepted by many Muslim denominations & Muslims out there, let's not go there. You can be a Muslim without accepting the Sahih Bukhari, you cannot be a Muslim without accepting the Quran. The Quran is accepted by everyone.

so it forms a part of islamic culture

so it forms a part of islamic culture

There is no such thing as Islamic culture. Culture is culture, & is defined by your nation/country/region; not the religion. Pakistan has a different culture from many Islamic/Muslim nations.
