Do you know how lucky we are to have life on Earth? It is the exact amount of close and far from the sun to support a habitable climate. The leading theory of the Earth's formation from the sun's escaping gases turning and spinnning from a disc shape to a ball shape, cooling down and then the meteoric impact that formed the moon, allowing for the Earth to reach its present perfect size, the formation of Jupiter that allowed to suck in all incoming large meteors allowing life to happen. Just too many things to go just right for life to happen.

The ancient "Hindus" are also the closest civilization to estimate the age of the Earth, at about 5.4 billion years. Ancient texts also contain information about the ever expanding universe, oneness of the universe, etc. Quantum Physics has recently helped strengthen the concept of Brahman.

"Hinduism" believes in extra terrestrial life forms ..some texts even contain information on UFO's ..We are not alone in this universe, that's for sure.. and our existence is not a co-incidence.

OK, I know that nobody exactly knows when Hinduism started, but how do you know it's 5.4 billon years old?

I think it's not even writen in Vedas that How old is Hinduism.

Witout any doubt, I agree that Hinduism is full of Knowledge and With scientfic proofs.

5.4 bilions? you mean 5400 million years ago? we know hinduism is an old religion, but i dont think it will go back to 6 bilion years back.

I am sorry about the number. It could be wrong, I dont remember it correctly. It was more than 5 billion years.

Hinduism is not a religion ...Hinduism is a set of cosmic laws that are eternal and universal.

If you look at it, then everyone on the planet can be called a Hindu, including atheists, because everyone can satisfy one criteria or the other.

Hinduism is a diverse system of thought with beliefs spanning monotheism, polytheism,[38] panentheism, pantheism, monism, and atheism, and its concept of God is complex and depends upon each particular tradition and philosophy.

Hindus don't believe in conversion because we feel that all religions are true, in the sense that they all lead to the same destination. So what we say is that if you're a Muslim, be a good Muslim. If you're a Christian, be a good Christian.. because all religions in their core teach the same basic message of love, kindness, devotion, sincerity etc.

We cannot say how old "Hindus" are ..What we know is that it's older than the Harappan civilization.
