Steam Catapults for Varyag???

Could they install two steam catapults on the angled flight deck?

The pic is the older one, maybe Varyag won't have catapults, but the Type 085 supercarrier will have two on its angled deck.

The 2nd pic isn't Varag. The first image you posted does not even have a track. It shows a few metal bars, barrels and wire. Catapult decks are not constructed like rails. The launch platform is layered with pre-made track plates.

The 1st and 2nd picture depicts maintenance work. You don't install catapult decks with hands, it comes with the carrier.

You were right, Varyag won't install the catapult, it just clears my skepticism here.

BTW, they will use Varyag as a platform to practice the aircraft landing. The aircraft takeoff with catapult is fairly easy compared to the landing operation.
