Annexing territory is a matter of global hues and cries and there is no way Pakistan can afford it..just look at Russia on the Crimean affair...Put Pakistan can ensure a shadow or proxy government in Afghanistan which can sign an accord on Wakhan Corridor to develop it as a bi-lateral economic zone..So Afghans and Pakistan both benefit...Pakistan should also push ahead with a plan involving Iran, Russia and Turkey to stabilize and develop Afghanistan..

Why sign an accord when we can actually annex the wakhan corridor. Just like the afghans dont accept the durand line we can put forward a claim to wakhan saying the british illegally gave it to afghanistan during the great game (it was part of kpk). And once the claim is in place move the army near to the border and slowly overtime annex it. The wakhi people already are anti-afghan and would be more than willing to join us!

we are already doing it, through CPEC (Xingjiang province of China, which borders 7 countries, 4 out of them central asian ) , however we should indeed lay claim to this area, to counter Afghan claim of Loy Afghanistan !!!

Afghanistan's trade with china is barely 2-3% of it's total trade.
while Afghanistan's trade with Pakistan is 48% of it's total trade.
China will not Sacrifice it's $ 50-60 billions of investment in Pakistan for some Million dollars of trade.
But
China can still trade with Afghanistan, but this time through "PAKISTAN OCCUPIED WAKHAN" ... what say ?
