State Bank of Pakistan did not provide Funds for Election, Govt Refused !

Which loophole?
The 18th Amendment did not envisage a situation where elections in provinces could happen independently of elections in the center. The sheer challenge of conducting elections independently, aside from duplicity of finances required and deployment of manpower, is immense given the fact that elections have to be conducted under caretaker setup.

Basically, if elections were to happen in Punjab and KPK leading to the setting up of provincial governments in both provinces; how will the elected governments with 5 year mandate be set aside to give way to a caretaker setup for 2-months to conduct the process of elections for the federal government in October? And what impact will this have on the voter who would be influenced having knowledge that his MPA, Provincial Minister(s) & CM would still remain the same regardless of who he/she votes for? Etc.

The 18th Amendment did not envisage a situation where the government at the center becomes beghairat.

Fixed that for you.

The sheer challenge of conducting elections independently, aside from duplicity of finances required and deployment of manpower, is immense given the fact that elections have to be conducted under caretaker setup.

So does that mean the population be restricted from choosing their elected representatives and be ruled over by unelected people? This goes against every fiber of our constitution.

1- The elections were to be held long ago, not after 2 months if things had actually gone according to the law. This 2 month kay bad election hain to ghaseet lete hain argument makes no sense. There was a large enough buffer had the law actually been followed.

2- As for your second part, the same logic then applies for by elections for 1 or 2 seats. Why have them then? Us par bhi paisa bacha lo?

And finally, why would a voter voting for the NA even be led to believe that the MPA or CM of his province would change? He is voting for the NA, not PA.

Going by your logic, why would a PTI voter vote for PTI in NA when they know Sindh mani hakoomat to PPP ki hi rehni hai?

You are a somewhat articulate guy, and you mean well. But come on, you are defending the indefensible here. We all know what the real reason behind election delay is, and that is hadd harami, nothing else.

It started from IMF, went to no funds, then went to parliament isn't allowing, and now it has come down to bad law and order and RAW exploitation.
