Who cares we will figure it out. If we let in Chinese investment, it will be on our terms. I have seen Africa's investment from China nothing to brag about ......even the Africans are complaining about it. No strings attached. I don't know why people quickly turn the debate to poverty when the fact is that the urban middle class itself has raised India into a vibrant economy and the age of our median individual decreasing really fast. Sure we have a lot of work to do but I can only imagine what India would be like when most problems are dealt with and when the rural India alongside urban India prospers. Poverty is definitely seeing record falls.

China on the other is very cool in the sense that it doesn't really give a frig what you do within your own countries as long as you don't tell them what to do within their country. It doesn't really arm-twist you into meeting their demands and doesn't give a wooden nickle whether a genocidal maniac or a dove of peace is leading your country as long as whatever commitment you make out of your own volition is fulfilled.
