Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa says he won't allow anti-India acts

Now what have we done?? Your country started all of this by arming militias in Sri Lanka because you were afraid when Americans tried to build a naval base in Trinco. What you said is totally correct. See what happened Rajiv Gandhi. You reap what you saw indeed.

Lol .. if u really think India started the armed struggle, then you would be naive to think we can't start it again ! Mercenaries like LTTE can be propped up anytime !

Sri Lanka isn't anti-India or pro-India, these days pro China (?) though.

had india not stopped arming LTTE you might have been counting how many more presidents, defense ministers gone

India should never have armed LTTE scums in the first place

Bastard he is, let Hindus die like dogs in Lanka

WTF is this? Sri Lanka is not like India.

had India not stopped arming LTTE you might have been counting how many prime ministers gone and how many states have declared independence. :smokin:

According to your picture, it seems that Sri Lanka is the ultimate loser.....it always loses.....to India, then to Bangladesh....:woot:

Yeah we lose but we do not burn down houses of our cricketers down for that.

LTTE was one of the most sophisticated terrorist organizations in the history of the world(kudos to you for fighting and destroying them). And no India cannot pop up anything remotely like the LTTE in the near or distant future.Just keep the former LTTE area in check and Sri Lanka would be doing just fine.

Well we surely hope he doesn't allow any anti-India activities in Lanka, India-Lanka friendship is beneficial for both countries

Well done Sri Lankans on eliminating the LTTE, you now have one of the worlds most experienced fighting force. Sri Lankan economy is going leaps and bounds, and they have a highly educated and technically advanced population, looks as though Sri Lanka's not going to be a walkover anytime soon, well done.

We initially backed the ltte (which started up because of your ethnic discrimination and nothing to do with india), but you cannot ignore the fact that eventually we played an instrumental role in destroying it as well.

This man can't be taken on the face value, his action defy his tongue always

:) that is for SL interests and he is doing the right thing.

As long as you have South Indian supporter politicians of LTTE terrorists, the SL president has all the rights to play smartly and give you doubt about taking him on the face value

These Comments suit old era I say 1990's. From then on things have changed and India still have same stand on Srilanka.

IMHO, the shift in policy wasn't due to the assassination, the assassination was due to the shift in policy......recently watched 'Madras Cafe'...
