Serious fundamental conditions must be enforced on Sri Lanka on their economic model if this aid is going to achieve anything in the medium to long term.People are suffering and India is only trying to help the country with fuel in credit. This is not some conspiracy plot
China is also trying to help. US has so far but helped much
This can either be resolved naturally with a famine, or it needs to be resolved colonially by the colonial masters.
Aid without conditions will solve nothing.

IMF will impose conditions for fiscal discipline. Bilateral relations are important to preserve for countries like India. So India will not impose such conditions
