I am impressed by the honesty and moral integrity of Ranil WIckremesinghe. Channel 4, a British channel, had made a documentary on the Lankan civil war called the Killing fields of Lanka. The video is uploaded on You Tube. There it is clearly documented how indiscriminate bombing by sri lankan army killed thousands of innocent civlians.

Complaints of human rights abuse and war crimes were laughed away and attempts of international scrutiny was blocked by rajapaksa. This current government can bring justice to a war torn country and help reconciliation.
