if Shri Lanka willing to help India we must talk them

they can provide crucial information about there movements and together we can better counter them
some people say why India need Lanka help to counter LITTE
but its not all about power

The support offered by the Srilankan Govt is only sharing of Intelligence and not more than that. Some peoples mind just jumps in every direction without knowing the facts.
No one supports LTTE in Tamilnadu, the one supported is spending life time in Vellore Jail.

India can invite Srilankan peace keeping force in tamilnadu to clear off remaining pockets of LTTE.Srilankan army has already met with success in decimating LTTE in their counter they can be very helpful in teaching indian forces how to do the job right which even IPKF was unable to do in srilanka in 1989.

First there are no LTTE in TN as of now.

But if Rajapaksa continues with his discriminatory policies towards the Tamils and drags his feet on core issues like re-settlement and re-habiliation of the displaced SL Tamils, there is no gaurentee that LTTE in some other form is not re-born.

The onus is now on Rajapaksa to deliver the goods and ensure a fair and equal treatment to the ethinic SL Tamils.

They even managed to create a rudimentary Air Force from nothing. The overhyped Afghans are kittens compared to these guys.

LTTE was one of the most dangerous terrorist organisations in the world rather it was on top.

you forgot the biggest help and support came from India. Your South Indian politicians were sheltering LTTE terrorists including its leaders.
