What "Muslim Freedoms"? Covering your face in in public places is banned in several countries for security reasons and this is not limited to Burqa/Niqab. Do wearing helmets now count as a "Muslim freedom" as well? Sri Lankan Muslims are not only supportive but even helped to make this proposal. Pakistanis have no idea about the Muslims outside of Pakistan but acts like they are in Sri Lanka. Muslims in India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka are nothing like those in Pakistan.

If a woman from a far flung rural area or a village want to wear a Burqa to keep her traditions, then may be its fine. But If a city girl/woman wants to bring that culture while living in a modern metropolis, then there is something wrong especially in the prevailing security situations all around the world, courtesy of our many peaceful faithmates...Burqa is a disgrace to any city girl who goes to college, university, office, work, uses public transport, goes shopping , restaurants or any other public facility.....
