@Gibbs, I dont think Gota control BBS. The BBS actions cannot be controlled by Gota....I guess Gota might have intended to control it initially but it has gone out of control....anyway no surprise there..

BBS has done nothing illegal to be banned. They have there freedom of speech to say anything they wish. If they should be banned there is a long list of organizations to be banned starting from TNA and SLMC.

Just presenting himself with BBS monks to photos doesn't make Gota the godfather of BBS. You are accusing him blatantly.

BBS and its leaders have said they will finish off anyone who dared to touch a buddhist in broad day light in a large gathering. They have been doing that in almost all gatherings in many parts of the island. They have threatened to destroy their businesses and houses....again video evidence of their speeches...

Their goons have burned property belonged to muslims before. Dont say NO, there are eye witnesses and VIDEO evidence. None of the perpetrators of the crimes specially the monks in videos and BBS goons went to jail.

Yes there had been an incident three days before where an altercation had taken place between a driver of this monk and three muslim youth and the authorities arrested those involved.. The law had taken place.. So what was the reason for BBS dogs to go to the place and espouse hatred and violence.. That shameless Gnanasara fled in his black Montero that is given by Gota under the MoD after enticing the people with his vitriolic .. The whole country knows this.. The founding president of the BBS Ven Wimalajothi resigned after the incidents sighting the movement is been hijacked by those with political/racial motives.. People know this you goat.. This aint 1983 when you could propagate BS without any scrutiny.. I wonder where people like you will be when another civil war would erupt.. Sri Lanka : Founder of Sri Lanka\'s extremist Buddhist movement says the organization is beyond his control now

June 18, Colombo: The founding leader of extremist Buddhist movement Bodu Bala Sena (BBS) Kirama Vimalajothi Thero said today that the organization he founded was beyond his control now.

He said he would not approve the language the secretary of the BBS Galagodaaththe Gnanasara Thero used to speak about the President and the other politicians. He said that the hateful words were not suitable for Buddhist monks.

The Thero said the BBS was not suitable for him and he was considering resigning. He further said that he would not resign from the leadership immediately since there is a problem now. He said that the "horse has bolted."

Meanwhile the sources say that Galagodaaththe Gnanasara Thero who is accused of instigating communal violence against Muslims has gone underground. The organization is on the verge of split and a legal battle regarding the property is expected.
