Sri Lanka hits back India, No extremists

Sri Lanka says extremists groups from Pakistan have not had any kind of training in Sri Lanka. The dismissal came from Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa to reports from a member of the Lakshar-e-Taiba terrorist outfit that he was trained in Colombo.

There are no extremist groups operating in Sri Lanka, Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa told Daily Mirror online in response to the claims.

The External Affairs Ministry had said yesterday that Sri Lanka is in touch with the Indian authorities over claims by the Lakshar-e-Taiba terror suspect that he was trained in Colombo to carry out terrorist attacks on Indian soil.

The Defence Attache at the Sri Lankan High Commission in New Delhi is already in discussions with the Indian Defence Authorities and a comprehensive report over the issue has been sought by the External Affairs Ministry in Colombo, External Affairs Ministry sources had told Daily Mirror online.

While from the original article , a sane person can assume that both parties had an investigation and Sri Lanka has given a report thats negative, the thread starter convincingly using "Hit back" ... maybe he needs some thanks from anybody who dislikes India.

This has again proved how much unreliable the thread starter is in regards to the floods of threads he starts on the basis of "copy pasting everything" from the net.

The title suggest as if India accused Lanka and Lanka hit back saying "its false"

while truth as we all know is

It has become an habit now.

Bash India with out credible source, put pictures of Srilankan leaders with Pakistani political leaders, put a picture of both countries flags,so that his post count and thanks increases.

Amazing, but shows poor debating and poor analysing skills.

The Hindu : News / National : Inside Abdul Khwaja’s failed war against India

Early in January, a swarthy young man handed over a spanking new Pakistani passport identifying him as Karachi resident Mohammad Farhan to an immigration officer at Sri Lanka’s Bandaranaike airport.

Just a few taps on the keyboard later, though, the immigration officer knew the man Sri Lankan authorities had been watching out for had arrived. Hours later, Sheikh Abdul Khwaja was put on a special aircraft to Hyderabad.

Khwaja has long been identified in media accounts as among India’s most wanted: a key figure in the jihadist cells, which have carried out a succession of urban bombings since 2005, and possibly linked to the Mumbai carnage of November 2008.
