Also interesting that industry is expanding at 8.1%, this is a clear indicator of Sri Lanka industrialising.

Traditional, low-value agriculture seems to be dropping off, hopefully we use the raw rubber and materials to make value-added goods.

Yeah and the most important thing in the country is political stability. We can't afford to gamble with stability over our political affiliations. Anyway our compatriots are such idiots who almost elected a military general into power just because they were supposedly tired of "authoritarianism" LOL

Great job,and congrats。

Now keep it up for the next 20 years。

A strong leader means a strong country.

Sri Lanka is extremely lucky to have such a leader. Such men don't come into power anywhere in the world often. If we let him, he will be as Lee Kuan Yew was to Singapore. He realises what it takes to build a developed country (infrastructure, education, healthcare, technology, science) and actually gets things done.

He is definitely not perfect, but if anyone can send Sri Lanka into the 21st century in any meaningful timeframe, it is him.
