As long as you can still use cash, at least your consumption is rather anonymous. The books you buy, the foods you eat, if bought with cash gives you a certain amount of protection. Yes, in a way, we are already living in a slave society light.

People like Gates or Trump, even with their billions, are mere managers of the real slave master.

Every technology created out of spurt headed by the government, most of the invention to transform society were sponsor and approve by the government. A bit off-topic but yes you are correct. I have mentioned numerous times on PDF, all data show one and only one cold hard fact: China (so is other Sinophere) has among highest savings rate in the world. China is a savings economy, not (yet) consumption driven, exactly opposite to many others.
