This is messed up. Looks like the cyclist was caught up in the bomb blast on the Shia pilgrims, and all this story was constructed to cover it up. What were they thinking?

I think what he is disputing is the fact that he only had 2 escorts, one driver and one policeman, and both of them were still alive, so where did the claim of 6 policemen came from?

Maybe they hit another roadside IED meant for another pilgrim bus, who knows. He also said he was made to read out the official version of the incident to his family. Something is definitely amiss.
