SpaceX Starship SN8 High Altitude Flight Test Live Stream

I am very pessimistic on the prospect of sending humans to Mars. Trying to retrieve Mars samples is already a major challenge as you need a spaceship that can survive the entry of the Mars atmosphere and able to get back into space from the surface. Also how to put the Mars samples collected from the rovers into the spaceship.

NASAs Perseverance rover is Part 1 of Mars Sample Return. It will collect Mars Samples and store. Part 2 is scheduled to launch in 2026.

. .

Just to be clear, SpaceX completed 90% of its objectives, including the hardest parts of the flight. Engine cut off, vertical to horizontal, control and descent, relight and flip. Now it’s just sticking the landing, which no doubt SpaceX will nail. SN9 is ready for the pad.

Nothing! Only noise, as static as a rock!

Nice try, best luck next time dude.:omghaha:

American rockets do fart.
So fast for Xmas with firework celebration?

Just like Indian claim of their chandrayaan 2 mission with 98% objective met despite flop with crash landing.

You are all bird of the same feather.

Let me know when China attempts something this ambitious. This had never been done before in rocket history and SpaceX was almost perfect on their first try. SN9 is already stacked and construction has begun out to SN16. It’s just a matter of time now until a successful landing. Then we’ll move on to Super Heavy testing.

Your jealousy is clear for all to see. :D

I will used back your line, it part of the 90% success learning curve and is only part of a step towards success. No failure.

You mean I am jealous of your explosive firework?

Falcon 9 also crashed and exploded, many times in fact, through its development. Look where Falcon 9 is today.

SN8 successfully completed the most difficult parts of it’s flight. That’s what matters most. On to SN9 :D

Why do you even bother with the beast? Its not like his opinion even matters.
Not to Musk or real men that are pushing the boundaries of technology.

Just ignore the trolls.

So much cope and denial from the circlejerk of American fanboys: great success 90% success, 95% success, 100% success, 95% perfect, perfect. Reminds me of the 80% successful crashlanding of India on the moon. Imagine the trolling and smearing if that had happend to a Chinese prototype. Oh wait we dont need to imagine that.

SpaceX already has SN9 stacked and construction out to SN16. It’s just a matter of time now until it lands. SpaceX now has retired the hard parts of that flight.

No, China is not jealous, not at all. Keep that wreck for yourself.
