South Korea's fertility rate set to hit record low of 0.96

Developed world doesn't have enough people and developing world has too many people.

Developed world people are busy working, developing world people are busy making babies.

I'll help. S.Korea send me a plane ticket and a suite in a 5* hotel.

We can do it for "better relations" between Pakistan and S.Korea :laughcry:

A unified Korea will be a Great Power for sure. It will be the 2nd largest active military force in the world, a nuclear power, an economic power with one of the largest GDP in the world, a highly industrialized country with advanced technological prowess and decent soft power capabilities.
Believe me, we've been with them for over 2000 years and even their hisotry was all written in Chinese, we always know what they are capable of, throughout the history they were more lor less like a Chinese province.

It's a failed societal model where people are so busy earning "wealth" they forgo pro-creation, which is as natural a human instinct as wants to eat or sleep.

They are screwed. At least Japan's TFR is 1.4.

Same with societies that have 0 income or means to support a family but can't stop producing kids. Both types need to change.

Yeah but at least the poor people breeding is natural. This sort of thing is just odd.

Bloody this will half the population in one generation.
there are problems in their administration policies and societies.
They are workaholic, their usual work 60 hour a week.
Pupils are Studying around 7-8 hour a day.

Somewhat correct I guess. However I think it really isn’t the “earning wealth” that is the issue...it’s more like “keeping the wealth”and not having your kids grow up disadvantaged.

I think if the US made college education free the average birthrate would immediately jump +1. Kids aren’t that much of a financial burden...until you worry about their education and thus their future when you aren’t around.

Germany has free college iirc but their TFR is still around 1.5.

Working hard is good but it should be out of passion and not out of the pressure. If you do not have balance in your life, it will become boring and frustrating in long term.
