No, PRC sold the whole outer Mongolia to Russia while ROC Taiwan allow Tibet to go independent so as to please the west(British,USA).

If you check ROC constitution, outer Mongolia is under China while Tibet is not. Luckily, PRC managed to reclaim Tibet but I will not blame PRC to cede Mongolia. They were too weak that time and Russia assist is critical for the founding of PRC. You can't have the whole pie without giving up something.

But outer Mongolia is as good as dead. Russian is not interested in Mongolia while China is the only trade route for Mongol. China is effectively controlling the Mongolia lifeline.

What happen next is once PRC reclaim Taiwan ROC. She maybe legiment to claim Mongolia since they recognise outer Mongolia as part of their territories.

I have to admit painfully that you are right to a big extend. 弱国无外交. Chiang Kai Shek almost cannot do anything about outer Mongolia because long before his Northern Campaign 北伐, Mongolia was controlled by USSR. At that time Sun Yat Sen, Chiang Kai Shek and Mao are all lackies of USSR despite knowing that USSR has harm China in outer Mongolia.

The Beiyang general 徐树铮 did took back Outer Mongolia briefly. Right now everyone in PRC got so brainwashed that people still think Beiyang as traitor.

At that time, if Mao has guts, he can always march his division into Mongolia.

Not all anti-PRC trolls are KMT supporters, but many of them are definitely KMT supporters.

BTW, the modern KMTers have many different perspective, some of them are respecting CPC, while some still hold the same old mentality.

Ma is the later one, if he is a pro-CPC KMTer, then he wouldn't choose to not cooperate with PRC to defend China's sovereignty in both SCS and ECS.

This is the reality, now US still has a huge influence over Taiwan, the pro-CPC KMTers won't have any chance to get into power.
