yes.

I do not think so that south will just go and rape north. It will be extremely tough fight and at the end innocent people will be paying the price.

South Koreas economic progress is nothing short of a miracle. Within a span of a generation,South Korea which was essentially a poor, agricultural oriented country became an industralized country that takes on the might of the likes of China & Japan. I read somewhere that the no: of patents filed in S.Korea and Egypt were equal during the 1950s.Now where is S.Korea and where is Egypt.

So if S.Korea goes on to fight N.Korea, the north have nothing to lose as they are still in 1950s. But one thing I dont understand is that why they built their capital Seoul which is also their economic hub of S.Korea so near to the DMZ, within artillery range of north guns.

Yes but you need to understand that they can't operate yet without U.S. support. Their pilots have very little flight ours worth of training. They have to have the U.S. there to help them.
