Sejong the Great's 128 units VLS is unpractical, their watered-down version of Aegis is so clumsy which can't even capture so many flying targets simultaneously.

And Japan's Kongo/Atago are not much better either, since you all depend on US with the ship propulsion/radar/launching systems.

But Japan has a more robust economy and industry than South Korea, so they can afford to have more of those toys, while those South Koreans are just a group of pitiful people who need something big on the paper in order to boast their inferiority complex.

The Aegis systems on those ships are the same as used on the American destroyers and cruisers. You know something we don't? Because the Japanese just use their ships for ballistic missile defense and passed with flying colors.
