Indonesia has thousands of islands and very big sea territory extending from Indian Ocean to Pacific Ocean. They seriously need a lot of ships and and a few submarines. I will not call it a military build-up.

We will buy more subs to balance with the aggressive Indonesians.

French subs and fighters are in the priority purchase lists of our arm forces.

they are going to become one of top powerful muslim countries soon with the booming economy.

Indonesians are one of the most level headed Muslims in the world. They are not like some fanboys hoofing around in the neighbourhood.
