South Asia’s first MIRV payload

So the "MIRV Part" of the missile is still on paper?
Believe what you want mate!
The test fired missile carried multiple reentry vehicles! Now the guidance systems of these are being improved to further increase its utility. Adding maneuverability to avoid ABM systems and increase accuracy.

Are the sanctions on NESCOM and related entities delaying things or the "doing for the first time" delaying things ?
As far as i am aware, nothing is delaying the things and they are just taking their usual course! The guidance and control systems have been tested already but now further improvements are being worked at.

Yes carrying multiple dud warheads whose "guidance and control system is still being worked on" counts as MIRV!Sure! makes sense.

Yeah, it was never carrying live warheads!
The the guidance and control systems are being IMPROVED to increase accuracy and avoid ABM def. systems. But hey, as i was saying, believe whatever you want! :)
Lets just say it was all a hoax if that pleases you! :P Wont do me any harm anyway!

BTW, you must be one of those other indian members that @Guru_Dutt says are being treated badly and unfairly! :P

You would know better about such technologies
Such a shame for an elite member to be trolling here derailing the thread. Do u have anything of substance to discuss? You have some evidence to counter the claims of a DIA report about Pakistan's MIRV or just ur opinions?

Point is that the concept is still on paper, and the MIRV are yet to be tested!

You test something first and then go on to improve its accuracy, not the other way round.

Nops!
They were tested in the first test. That is what the ababeel test was all about. Now that the data from that test was collected, the work is going on to FURTHER increase accuracy of reentry vehicle, on control systems to avoid ABM def. more efficiently. That is who improvements are made and things evolve! Working on improving something do not means it do not exist! In fact, it is totally the opposite! It proves that the systems is there and is being worked on for further improvements. :)

That would make Pakistan the only country in the world to not showcase such capability.

A new report by the US Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA) confirms Pakistani claims regarding Ababeel MIRV capabilities

“In January 2017, Pakistan conducted the first test launch of its nuclear-capable Ababeel ballistic missile, demonstrating South Asia’s first MIRV payload, and in early July, Pakistan demonstrated an expanded-range Nasr CRBM”

Same paper says this about India .

India New Delhi seeks status as a global power and perceives its strategic forces as necessary elements to achieve that goal. India has put its first domestically built nuclear submarine, the INS Arihant, into service, and is set to take delivery of its second nuclear submarine, the INS Arighat, in 2018. India continues to modernize its military to better posture itself to defend its interests at home and in the broader Indian Ocean region while reinforcing its diplomatic and economic outreach across Asia. Continued exchange of heavy fire between Indian and Pakistani forces along the Line of Control poses a risk of inadvertent or gradual escalation of hostilities. In 2017, the lengthy standoff between Indian and Chinese forces along the Bhutan-China border heightened tension between India and China and prompted both sides to increase their forces near the Line of Actual Control. We expect that both sides will maintain this elevated force posture along disputed border areas through the remainder of 2018.

Either the Americans are lying or the Indians are lying. India claims that Pakistan has no MIRV capability. The Americans claims we do. Someone is lying and I'm eating my popcorn.

Hearty congratulations to all South Asians. :toast_sign:

Do u see Pakistanis saying ur nuclear submarines are fake? Or perhaps a Pakistani "expert" on the news claiming that it's all CGI? Nowhere was it denied by Pakistani news channels that India has inducted Arihant or that India is building its second nuclear submarine. This is what's being discussed here...ur news media always thinks that Pakistani achievements are somehow fake.
