My only problem with the statement is "Saudia can BUILD a bomb any damn time it wants"........... sorry can't do that, NEITHER can Iran................
Anytime it wants = down the road which is correct. Only thing that can prevent this from occurring is political pressure from the outside. Read US pressure.

If KSA really wanted to built nuclear weapons, as in REALLY wanted to, then such a thing could be done in the span of 15 years if not earlier. It all depends on the funding, attracting know-how who then could teach locals, investing heavily in nuclear engineering etc.
But you know what? KSA has NEVER sought a nuclear weapon because it has no use for KSA. Unlike Pakistan which is surrounded by a nuclear India that you fought plenty of wars with.
I mean bloody North Korea achieved to built nuclear weapons regardless of their small yield and limited stockpile etc.
