Sonny Bill Williams: Rugby star latest to criticise China over Uighurs

Wild Claim? What kind of rock you were living under? UN have more than a dozens of representative. And I am not the one that uses UN to compare to a so called "International" press conference. I am also not the one that say "Dozens" of reporter represent the whole world.

If you think like this, your "World View" is not really that much TBH

Again, go watch the youtube video of that conference, all the comment were there.

Also, there are no one supporting your claim as well other than a news piece come form China Foreign Office, that hardly trustworthy.
Do you think Kazakh president was defending China or not? simple question.

You still don't get it, what I claim is he is staying neutral, your claim is he is defending China, those can be two different concept

Depends on how you define "Defending" He is staying neutral, that's pretty obvious, and sometime staying neutral are a kind of defence, look at how US defend Israel policy but staying neutral and washing its hand with Palestinian situation. By saying nothing, US is defending Israel Policy

I wouldn't know if the president of Kazakh is defending China, because 1.) I am not him. 2.) Depend on what you mean by Defending, and since you are not him either, unless he "Specifically" say he is defending China (Which he did not in that interview by not outright do so when he was giving a chance) so, my answer is, I don't know, and you don't know either, you can think he is, that's all jolly and good, that does not mean he is though

Afert watching the video, how many will see he is defending China and how many see him as being neutral? what do you honestly believe?

Why you ask the same question again? Read my last post for your answer, I am not going to type again.

By the way, trained as a Lawyer, I was trained to read and analyse statement (usually witness statement) and that statement is dead right neutral, the reporter try to have him defame China, he wouldn't do that but at the same time, he wouldn't be associated with the whole thing as well (that is when he wash his hand on the issue by claiming that is solely a Chinese problem as those are not Kazakh, those are Chinese), that does not mean he is defending or attacking China, that only mean he want to stay neutral because he make one point on each side each.

That's a simple general perspective which needs no legal assistance, as long as you admit the majority of the public see him defending China and pro China in the interview, I m ok with it, there might be a very small percentage of people share your perspective though.

How do you know and proof "Majority of public" see him as defending China though, that is the problem

Because right now, only 1 publication comes out saying he is indeed defending China, and that publication was written by CGTV, that hardly non-biased. Can you find one western or even Russian article say Kazakh President defend China? Otherwise your logic of "Majority" stemming from 1 article and a press conference with minimal representation does not make sense.

If by Majority you mean "Majority" of Chinese, then yes, I do agree with you, but you said "The whole world" that does not make sense, because outside CGTN and Chinese Daily, nobody literally say anything like that.

I honestly hope you really believe what you say, not just being in denial. and at least it means you are an honest person.

from the look at it, it seems like you are the one that is in denial.

As I said, there are no article or opinion written other than Chinese Source (CGTN and Chinadaily) saying Kazakh President defending China, you are using a very obvious neutral statement (Which I have present a brief analysis) and try to frame the narrative on his word.

That is more akin to denial than what I have to offer

China thanked and praised Kazak president " neutral comment" and China definitely want s to see more and more those " neutal comments" from as many countries as possible.

Again, please do, but that did not alternate the fact that no one other than CGTN and China Daily actually did tow your line, or rather, tow the party line.
You are wrong, other foreign news channels also believe he was defending China

Kazakhstan: Crimea was not annexed, and China does not have concentration camps.

just because it use the username NewsFromUkraine, that does not mean they are a news channel (with 11k follower and less than 500 view?). And it is the same video as before, he just try to spin it like what you said before.

LOL.. that's a typical denial mode, lovely, can you find a similar channel supporting your interpretation of his interview? and if you can prove it is another CGTN and China Daily outlet, you are already wrong in your claim that

What channel?

Again, he is using the same video, which the president did not specifically say China do not have concentration camp, and that is very obviously a private user and not a legitimate channel.

What do you want me to find? That there are millions of people talk about the exact same thing we talk about or that internationally people think there are no concentration camp in China?

A pathetic way trying to divert the topic.
