Well put. I believe it is a combination of those two factors you mentioned. Feminism and other social revolutions of our modern times have only contributed towards the atomization of society (this is particularly true in the West but its spreading to the Eastern countries too). Feminism has destroyed traditional marriage. An atomized society benefits the consumerist culture that has come about within the last 70 years and the only one's benefiting from this are the big multi-billion dollar multi-national corporations. Also, an atomized society is less likely to politically organize against any kind of tyranny due to breakdown of strong tribal connections which characterized societies of old. For example, look at how easy it is to prosecute and crackdown on genuine political dissent in certain Western countries like Sweden and Germany for "hate speech" and "thought crimes" and no one will bat an eyelid because no one simply cares or people are just powerless to do anything. They no longer have the family connections of old to fall back on. Big brother government is all they have, and their consumerist culture. Often times allot of lefties use Marx's quote where he describes religion as the "opiate of the masses", but today this is true for the consumerist culture. People spend and spend on useless things as a way to escape the reality they live in.
True, but most people will not look into this stuff for various obvious reasons. This is especially true in fast paced consumerist societies where everyone has a nihilistic outlook on life. No one cares anymore about the consequences of their actions upon future generations. It's all about the here and now.

Well tbqh this forum isn't the best place to express certain opinions not in agreement with the views of the mods/admins. For example one of my threads which was about Chinese flooding Pakistani markets with cheap goods and destroying the local industries was deleted. I was never given a reason why.Good
