How far would you say would you run after you have been locked away in some dungeon in Evin prison ?

No , he went to live in a place where he can work freely without being arrested .Cause you know well enough he would never be allowed to express himself freely and be an artist in Iran.

I totally disagree with your analogy.

The problem with this "truth" is that it is politically motivated --- his country has a direct interest in promoting this one-sided BS. Israel was/is supporting militants beheading people in Syria who the Western mainstream media had conveniently branded "moderate rebels" till evidence against them started piling up.

And, before criticizing others, it is wise to criticize one's own family/government/country --- it lends more credibility to your opinions.
