What's new

Software used in 737 Max crashes linked to Indian software companies

9/hr is more than enough for third world country like India.
That's employee pay not Boeing to HCL contract. Also Client agreement ( Buyer) with Boeing is to offload 30% work load to Indian companies. so it is non negotiable

.
I don't understand what's Indians' fault in it?

. . . . . .
As I said the management of the Boeing is responsible for that, not Indian. You get what you pay for.
Are they? It's a media speculation, Boeing clarified it has nothing to do with the works done by HCL. But who cares all that, it's because Indian IT guy forgot to troubleshoot/test the software.:D

Well, in the end it is Boeing paying the price so they should end any such contract and hire a different company or develop a core team.
