Society, Women and Behashti Zewar

.
Hell no  Maulana Thanvi didn't write vague predictions like Nostradamus. He states what he envisions or advises, very clearly.

off course.

That is the definition of religious education. Knowledge is not bound by any such considerations, and education is better defined as the pursuit of knowledge.

Oh baba.

How many among Pakistani women (sometimes more than 60%) in higher education are obeying your or Thanvi's interpretation?

If someone tells a university educated married/grown up women today that she must know not to cheat or lie.

Is that religious education or moral or modern?

Take your pick please.

A better question to ask is what percentage of the total number of women actually make it to a university? The vast majority still fall under the same retrogressive mentality as that espoused by books like BZ.

You mean women with a pre-12th grade education? The numbers still remain horrible. Besides to be affected by BZ, they do not have to read it themselves, but merely be in a household where BZ thinking holds, reinforced by patriarchal and matriarchal authority.

A Gift for Muslim Women (Tohfae Khawateen)

Author: Maulana Ashiq Elahi Madani

"After Bahishti Zewar, this is the fist concise and most detailed book the subject of which is women and their problems. The work is beneficial for all though it is addressed particularly to women. Special effort has been made to compile the traditions originally reported by women, and problems too are those connected with women. However, as necessary, Ahadith reported by men have also been included. There are also disputations because the purpose is to counsel and guide. The chapters are arranged somewhat as follows. First there is the Book of Faith, Kitab ul Iman, then, Ablution and Bath, Sala’t, Zaka’t, Fasting, Hajj, Virtues of al Quran, Remembrance and Prayers, Marriage, Divorce, Bringing up children, etc."
