The Threadstarter Was sore, and He threw in his own few lines at the end of the first post and that brought out his Real intent, To Playdown This Achievement by Indians! Sad, Sad Indeed, because I would never do that If a Pakistani film/entertainment personality achieved something as big as this!

sir ahmad you know today on news i was listening to what shekhar kapoor , karan (coffe guy) many other big stars of bolly wood and some intellect had to say: They said its not our film-
WHAT IF US MAKES A MOVIE ON war on terror.
Do iraqi or talibani celebrate it ???? like we do?
See it shows the great courage which still exist in this new gen x y z . but its not our movie and its surely not Just about how pathetic we are or how great we are. Its a fiction but shows both side of coin.

You can at least celebrate for A R Rahman's award.

A member brought this post to my attention who thinks that it's necessary for me to respond to this illogical allegation. Since the poster is on my Ignore list, I was unaware of the fact that this Indian member, continues to address my posts and threads, with a special touch of degeneracy as usual.

It's a pity that people [mod edit] like him don't have the necessary skills to comprehend the rest of the posts that were specifically composed so that the whining from the Indian members comes to a stop. In fact, some of the more "Intelligent" Indian members have completely understood the original Intent yet some of these people continue to fail at following their footsteps. Referring to the first post, there's a possibility that these are the same people who're hiding in that very special hole.

The Intent is quite visible to all the people who've read my posts and if they STILL think that I'm providing "Personal" views, they REALLY should stop trolling around and get a decent education. Enough said.

Some people have no other hobby but to address others as imbeciles, degenerate etc etc etc! I am here not to win a popularity contest but let me make it clear that this certain member hates India and Anything slightly Indian. So let him have his field day, because poor people like him, can only enjoy on the net badmouthing India, and sporting extremist mentalities coz in real life they are in either Canada or some other country and just feel Jealous when India is right up there in the minds of the Westerners by Winning this Oscar.

Today, Indian Entertainment Industry has reached a Milestone, It has gained Legitimacy in the eyes of the West and these guys are simply Jealous!

I feel proud of AR Rahman and Rasool and Smile pinky wininng Oscar as an Indian, But as Cinema Lover, I feel the Dark Knight has been Neglected, and it was a superior product and easily deserved Best Direction and Best Movie. God Speed.

it was just hype because of suicide of ledger but i wonder why people even respect a person who committed suicide no sympathy from my side to that piece of dead meat.
Any how yes leon sir, i am happy about rehman. and i like what these guyssaid abotu him shekhar kapoor with some gora friends: After listening to Rahman in argentina( where he is shooting his movie) people said this guy have a sense of music which is rare to find after Mozart.
But as for fact of selling pverty. I remember this french girl i met at udaipur a few month ago we were together for 3 days and she kept requesting she want to see poor kids and SHE LOVES POVERTY lool. wtf
Any ways how can you say this movie is indian? yes this movie is about.
Again that pinky movie is also about the kid who was called HONTH KAtwi ( GIRL WITH split lips).
But again its not just about how poor we are its also about how we can still over come the odds. and life is not all lost.

Look, Perceptions Differ, Dark Knight was no ordinary fare. I hate the Godfather series, and its My perception. And Heath Ledger didnt commit suicide, atleast to the best of my Knowledge. It was presumed to be a suicide but it was a Drug overdose or something. Anyways suicide is his Personal matter, Acting is what we should care for and He deserved the Oscar he got, but the Movie was easily better than Slumdog in all damn possible ways!

DarkStar, Thanks for the appreciation. And a Correction, The Firangi made a huge Contribution! Without his belief in the movie, it would not be possible. Some Indian Directors badmouth this movie, just because they know they cant Match upto Danny Boyle, who made a name with Trainspotting.

I have the highest regards and respect for Pakistani Artists! Especially the Actresses Seriously I feel you guys have great looking actresses! God Speed.

Resul Pookutty for for Best Sound Mixing.
Gulzar along with A R Rahman for best song.

Also 'Smile Pinki', a documentary based in India best win Best Documentary Short Subject.

I am more elated with Rasool Pookutty winning the Award coz he beat the likes of Wall-e Which I loved. I mean man, this really goes onto prove we got excellent technicians, who can beat the west's latest tech gadgetry!

Wow . I wasnt expecting this in this thread. Im more glad as Indians who were part of this film , Rahman and Pookuthy won, 3 oscars. Not that very glad about those firangs though.
