Sinovac and Sinopharma are both manufactured using the traditional method of using dead inactivated virus hence are regarded as classic vaccines.

By far they prove to be the safest methods and since the dead virus contains all the proteins within the same cell and researchers have assumed that it should be effective against the new variants as well.

Test trials are currently being arranged and will be conducted in August 2021 to determine that by Sinovac.
