Six Iraqi Militia Members Killed in Second Drone Strike Ordered by President Trump in Baghdad

I understand the importance of Soleimani as a public figure and a national hero, but you are highly exaggerating the situation.

Let's not forget that General Soleimani was the commander of the Quds Force. And the equal for the Quds Force in the region is the US CENTCOM. So, the commander of CENTCOM is an equal for Soleimani.

no he is not .... Trump should fear for his own and his family safety from now because he even doesn't give sheet about American troops safety in region ... anyway , we can kill him and say his internal rivals did this to use this opportunity and then blame Iran for it ... ( maybe they really do this and put blame on Iran )

killing Gerard Kushner will be a good start ...

know the facts before spitting shit, RSS hindu

Soleimani took the civilian flight arriving at the airport, it's public info. The legality of this operation is even debated among the usa political elites

What it means is no one is safe in the world from assassination, Trump has set a new precedence.

I understand that you are upset about the assassination, but you must put emotions aside and think logically about this incident.
In military terms, the commander of the US CENTCOM is indeed an equal for General Soleimani. We may not be able to target even him because he probably stays in the US most of the time. Getting close to a target in the US is extremely difficult and assassinating him inside the US territory can lead to unpredictable consequences. We need to give a measured response that puts the Americans in their place but also does not lead to an all-out war.

It is now evident that he withdrew ground troops because he can achieve all objectives with drones, navy and air force assets.

He didn't "withdraw". He simply reconfigured. We - the rest of the world - were once again outmanoeuvred by a master strategist.

Trump is a genius. No question about it. He is pure illusion, smoke and mirrors.
You need boots on the ground to influence or control an area, and no one really expected him to leave Mid east, and it is really not just up to him, it is US's interest.

war is close i think..

in addition to slaughtering american troops, Iran is going to directly go after top level American officials and officers... nobody is off limits..

there will be a heavy response(s) that will spill a lot of American blood and probably Zionist blood as well...

and in case of any war, ii can guarantee tel aviv, and the Saudi oil facilities and economy wont live to laugh about it... just a reminder for those fanboys orgasming over this....

killing Soleimani was not hard... he went out openly in public... what made Soleimani untouchable were the reprecusions such an action would take.... when you directly target personally the people who have their hands on the military trigger. then all bets are off.

Whoever said you "need boots on the ground" to control another nation?? Did a CNN analyst say this and we all simply accepted it? We have been duped!

By "withdrawing" his ground troops, Trump projects a libertarian isolationist and almost anti-war image. Yes, it's true. Trump has cultivated both sides of the war camps by pretending to be anti-war and pro-disengagement fro the ME, while retaining absolute control just as American presidents always have.

Plenty of nations are directed remotely by local handlers and enablers who are simply manipulated in various ways by foreign powers. Pakistan is a reasonable example of a nation susceptible to foreign blackmail.

Iraq has no chance whatsoever. For Iraq, the only question is who will win in the struggle between different manipulators. Today, Trump has struck a significant blow, far from decisive though.

My friend, US does not make a move till it plans and have insider knowledge. before attacking "Sardar" they have calculated and researched the response and what iran can do...Mind you they think 20 years ahead.

what seems to amaze me and iran should worry about is why US is confident about getting things done with negligible cost.

its a trap! US has placed a Trap! they want the a military response from Iran.

Trump doesn't want loss of lives that may affect his reelection.

Kim Jong Un, Maduro, Castro, Khamenei, Xi Jinping. These tyrants should be the next American targets.

Agreed with you on most part there, but nevertheless US Mid East policy after pouring huge resources is still a distraous in some extent till this day, on the other hand Russian with much less input but gainning so much since 2015 Syria intervention.

Because Hassan Rouhani and Reformers are in power ... 6 years ago when Hassan Rouhani won the election , I said : " If I was an American preseident , I would attack Iran while this guy - Rouhani - is in power and be sure no response come back "

last month he simply rise gasoling price for 300% and then said : " I didn't knew about this decision " and laughs ... he is traitor ...
