Chinese patience is running thin and China is expected to start full invasion of Ladakh in Jan-2022 after the failure of the 14th round of talk to be held on January 12th, 2022.

I'm sorry, but all these "phull sapport saar" scenarios where the US fights a direct war with China are just a huge cope by countries who will be steam-rolled by the PLA. The United States and its allies will not involve themselves in a direct war with China and risk starting a global nuclear apocalypse for the sake of India (or Taiwan for that matter). At most there will be economic and diplomatic pressure.

The biggest casualties Balakot inflicted was on IAF's pockets. They jettisoned multiple bombs, lost three aircraft and the personnel and weapons on them, etc. all for nothing. Millions of dollars and precious lives wasted on accomplishing nothing but sealing India's military's reputation as a joke.

Indian leadership knew well Indo-Soviet Treaty ensured PLA would not intervene. Back then PLA was not in a position to move its troops due to pressure from Soviet army in Siberia. Today its not at the liberty to move its airforce.

USA has no commitment to assist India militarily but Chinese are not in position dilute their defenses in East for India just because some cheerleader on the internet is frothing and foaming
