Whats your point now? Yes, I know guru means teacher, but this world is little bit of vedic age, and no one use in modern world for teacher.
Wrong. Guru as teacher is still widely use at least in Malay languages. You may bluff your way out about situation in India.
I saw the Malay printed in our teachers guide book using the word Guru.
Officially I see teacher translated as Guru in Malay, but my students would use cenku more often.
Nepali students may use Guru talking among themselves but normally they will use teacher as we communicate in English.
