In recent times, I have been hearing a lot about this referendum 2020. It currently has a lot of support from Sikhs living across borders in foreign lands. How much support is there from Sikhs living in Punjab, India for this movement?

Out of the 27 million Sikhs 20 million are living in India, no other country has even 1 million sikhs living in there.

its not indian punjab its some of sikhs whom want it . south asia is already sucks from religous base states we can not afford one more .

Right, we this thread prop up every few weeks.

1. The Sikhs outside India (who support Khalistan) wield very little clout within India.
2. Most Sikhs, the vast majority who live in India are with their country.
3. The Khalistan thing seems to be dying out with younger Sikhs in the Western world. They all seem to be fanatically pro Indian, so I'm not sure about the longevity of the cause.
4. It doesn't really concern Pakistan.
5. Large countries simply do not break up anymore.
