No need to do that, they know about those more then we do, but its all about priorities when it comes to financing a project due to limited resources.

Turkish Edus and some companies are working on Electromagnetic technologies.
The project of Prof.Öksüz is said to be cancelled.

Yeah but its gonna have nuclear effects on the population. But with EMP you can only target military installations/systems to neutralize them.

It's all about budget.

You can pour all your resources into something nobody has perfected, to build a few weapon systems that will be irrelevant in a large scale war.

Or you can be sensible and build up conventional strength.

I don't know about other services but Pak Army has been experimenting with it......



They actually used EMP devices on tanks to blind other tanks during exercises ..
