Siachen – Bravery Beyond Compare

Pakistani soldiers had no ammunition left as weather didn't allow any supply from base camp. This was the only reason Indians were able to climb up. Two of the SSGs successfully retreated from the top and survived to tell the their accounts.

soyou say contrary to the belief, we reached the top first??

Somehow I find it funny that Pakistanis always blame the failure of their military (1965, longewala, dhaka, kargil, siachen) on bad planning. As if planning is supposed to be done by someone else and the military is just supposed to go a do a testosterone loaded fight and kill other soldiers.. Thats such a LMAO... Actually if all failures of Pakistani military are a result of bad planning then it actually gives an impression of PA being a bunch of armed rabble incapable of planning military maneuvers..

statements like this have got u banned.

let this be a lesson to all indians

So far what i have heard is that the positioning of the post gave a lot of advantage to the occupants of the post.Reportedly they killed a lot of Indian soldiers. They radioed the base that they were extremely short on ammunition(claimed only 3 bullets)The Indians were listening in on this conversation and hence they were successful in capturing the post. That is what i have been told but only God is certain of the truth.

Does it really matter? What actually matters is who achieved the objective!

Err..apart from being a bit too forthright. what did he say wrong ?

It is a fact that Pakistan lot many major battles because of not being to anticipate what the enemy moves would be - the most famous being their failure to anticipate that in Operation Gibralter there is a chance that India would cross the International border to offset any pakistani thrust in the Lashmir sector.
