1.Hindustan/ SA was not an uncivilized lawless country / society before the English Co crept into power. Our administrative machinery was well organized delivering service to the people. There was peace in society. The culprits were always punished through due process of law. There was accountability by officials at every level. A man could even go and see the Emperor seeking redress. Whenever required the Qazi would summon even the Emperor to answer charges. Never have we heard of any miscarriage of justice till the dirty English came with their English Common Law. The first glaring example of the fraudulent nature of this law was witnessed in the famous Nandkumar Trial at Calcutta.

2. Not merely BD, all of SA should revert to pre-1757 laws and administrative system, and reform into modernity from there.

Laws are only as good as people who administer it.Our laws are good for us and our society.Besides laws has to change with time.Pre-1757 laws are no longer applicable anymore.

in our text books both shershah and akbar are good rulers. Akbar ruled for a long time. shershah ruled for a very short period. afghans were considered locals but mughals were not. With akbar that also came to an end.

Akbar was not much muslim. He tried to start his own religion, did not click.
If he had tried hard, he might have his own dedicated followers now.

Akbar was great, because he knew the subcontinent, knew real politics knew how to keep his empire.

Why someone has come out with old and outdated laws? BD has SECULAR British laws. Any complain about that? It is funny to see how some stupids want us to stick to an outdated bunch of laws in the name of religion? We must be plurilistic minded and progressive as well. Why to try to bring back laws that have already been discarded and are not implemented any where in the world, at least not in the non-barbarian muslim world?
